PRESS RELEASE — On Monday, May 14, 2018, at 9:41 pm, Officers with the Orange Police Department, where dispatched to the Honey Stop located at 1012 Park Ave. in reference to an aggravated robbery.
Officers arrived on scene in less than one minute, but the suspect fled the store prior to their arrival. Reportedly, the suspect was last seen running east on Park Ave. After a search of the area, the suspect was not located.
The suspect was described as a black male, believed to be wearing women’s clothing. During the robbery the suspect brandished a large knife, and demanded money from the register. Evidence was collected from the scene. The investigation is still on going at this time.
