The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from April 23 – April 29, 2018:

 

Monday, April 23

  • Courthouse. Judge found bond insufficient, raised the bond to $6,000 and ordered defendant to jail.
  • Theft. A complainant filed a report at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in reference to credit card abuse.
  • Theft at an undisclosed location on Farm to Market Road 1131 in Vidor.
  • Information in reference to a student/teacher relationship. At this time, the case is under investigation. No arrests have been made.
  • Burglary at the 8000 block of Hwy. 12 in Vidor.
  • Stolen vehicle at the 3600 block of Carpenter Circle in Bridge City.

 

Tuesday, April 24

  • Theft at an undisclosed location on Allie Payne Road in Orange.
  • Assault at an undisclosed location on North Main Street in Vidor.
  • Criminal mischief at an undisclosed location on South State Hwy. 87 in Orange.
  • Theft at an undisclosed location on Jewel Drive in Orange.
  • Cruelty to animals at an undisclosed location on Real Road in Vidor.
  • Assault at the 300 block of Live Oak in Vidor.
  • Disturbance at an undisclosed location in Orange.
  • Assault at the 7700 block of Farm to Market Road 105 in Orange.
  • Threats at an undisclosed location in Orange.
  • Assault at the 5000 block of Kings Court in Orange.

 

Wednesday, April 25

  • Burglary at an undisclosed location on Claire Drive in Orange.
  • Theft at an undisclosed location on West Brackinwood Lane in Orange.
  • Information concerning a dog bite incident. A deputy was dispatched to the Pedi ER at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont in reference to a dog bite.
  • Vehicle registration at the 9500 block of Hwy. 12 in Orange. A traffic stop for a moving violation lead to a search of the vehicle. A controlled substance was located generating a criminal investigative report.

 

Thursday, April 26

  • Traffic stop in the area of Tall Pine and Longleaf in Vidor. A deputy initiated a stop of a man operating an All-Terrain Vehicle. The driver failed to stop.
  • Animal bite at the 17000 block of State Hwy. 62 in Orange.
  • Theft at the 6900 block of Lariat Loop in Orange.
  • Suspicious person at the 11700 block of State Hwy. 62 in Orange. Two persons were arrested for pending criminal charges.
  • Disturbance at the 100 block of Chinese Elm in Vidor.
  • Disturbance at the 500 block of Pin Oak Drive in Orange. One person was arrested for pending criminal charges.

 

Friday, April 27

  • Stolen vehicle at the 5700 block of Woodland Drive in Orange.
  • Theft at the 16000 block of State Hwy. 62 in Orange.
  • Stolen vehicle at the 9300 block of Bill Lane in Orange.
  • Vicious animal at the 9100 block of Hickory Bend Drive in Orange.

 

Saturday, April 28

  • Injured animal in the area of Hwy. 12 and Wyatt Paul in Orange.
  • Threats at the 600 block of Russell Road in Vidor.
  • Sexual assault in the Orange area.
  • Assault at the 100 block of Nell Street in Orange.

 

Sunday, April 29

  • Assault at an undisclosed location on Corbett Street in Vidor.
  • Theft at the 4900 block of West Bluff Road in Orange.
  • Disturbance at the 2600 block of Alice Street in Orange.
  • Theft at the 3500 block of Carpenter Circle in Orange.
