DIBOLL – Little Cypress-Mauriceville had no problems dispatching the Diboll Lumberjacks in Game One of their their Class 4A Region III bidistrict series Wednesday as the Bears rolled to a 11-1 victory at Diboll High School.

LC-M’s Michael Lee bombarded Diboll pitching as he piled up five runs batted in on three hits as he belted two home run bombs.

Chris Bilbo and John Beeson each had two hits for the Bears (29-5).

Reid Saperstein and Max Dileo also aided the Bear offense with two RBI apiece.

Taylor Gilbert and Thayne Toomey tossed two innings apiece for the Bears.

The series will shift back to LC-M Friday with Game Two starting at 5:30 p.m. at Gibbens Field. Game Three, if necessary, will follow 30 minutes after Game Two.
