Lady Cardinals and Liberty Area Round series all set

The Lady Cardinals (26-7), 22-4A champions, will take on the Liberty Lady Panthers (21-11), the second-place team out of 23-4A, in a best-of-three area round series Thursday, Friday and possibly Saturday.
Game One is Thursday at 5 p.m. at Crosby High School with Liberty being the home team. Game Two is Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Port Neches-Groves High School with BC being the home team. Game Three, if necessary, will be at noon Saturday back at PN-G. Admission is $5 for everyone.
The Lady Cardinals blanked Jasper 6-0 in bidistrict play while Liberty spanked Houston Yates 14-0.
The BC-Liberty winner will face either Lufkin Hudson or Tarkington in the regional quarterfinals.
