St. Mary Spring Festival

The Spring Festival is one of St. Mary’s long-standing traditions. For 85 years, families have gathered in the school grounds to eat, play, and work hard to raise funds that keeps the school’s doors open year after year. The event will be held Apr. 28-29 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic School at 2600 Bob Hall Rd. in Orange.

 

Concert

First Baptist Church of Vidor will host a concert at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 29 at the church, 350 N. Main Street. Mercy’s Well is a versatile Southern Gospel group that appeals to old and young alike. The church will take a love offering.

 

Feeding the Hungry

Mt. Olive Baptist Church is Feeding the Hungry at 12 Noon gathering with prayer every Thursday at the Rosa Watson Caring Kitchen located at 106 West Park Ave. in Orange. Rev. Ronnie Crockett, pastor. For more information call 886-2508

 

Assistance needed

Mt.  Zion is working on housing units for our Fresh Start Program (housing division) If you would like to donate your time or help with materials, please call 409-234-9039

 

Prayer meeting

Prayer meeting headed by Pastor Curley Richard of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday – Friday at 1207 Link Ave. in Orange.

 

Soup Kitchen

1st Presbyterian Church located at 902 Green Ave. in Orange offers lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.

 

Fresh Start Program
