Donald Brown officially withdrew his name from the ballot for Orange County Judge on Thursday, April 26.

Brown filled out the Certificate of Withdrawal on April 26.

Orange County Clerk’s office stamped it at 3:20 p.m. Thursday, April 26.

Orange County Elections also received the certificate shortly after the County Clerk.

Brown and his spouse, Daniel Spencer, were indicted recently for felony charges of injury to a child.

Brown was the Democrat candidate.

There have been questions on the eligibility of Brown being on the ballot after the Orange County Democrat Party sent out a press release in reference to the check used for his filing fee in December was returned for insufficient funds.
