The Bridge City Lady Cardinals defeated Sabine Pass 9-0 in a playoff warmup game Monday.

Kassidy Wilbur pitched two innings with five strikeouts while going 3-for-4 at the plate with two home runs and four RBI.

Austyn Daniels completed the game on the mound as she had three strikeouts and allowed two hits.

Aleah McClanahan was 1-for-3 with a home run. Natilee Reed, Abby Anderson and Ashley Gerrald each went 1-for-3. Jaylynne Burch was 1-for-2 and Caitlin Denison was 1-for-4.

The Lady Cardinalswill take on the fourth-place team out of District 21-4A in the Jasper Lady Bulldogs in a one-gamer Friday night at 7 p.m. at Jasper High School in the bidistrict playoffs.

The cost is $5 for everyone attending the game.
