To The Leader

I enjoyed a couple days off last week. I was with several Sheriff’s from Louisiana and Texas. They have the same problems there that we have here. Let’s see what’s been going on.

We have a never-ending problem with bad dogs. Keep your dogs on your property and that will help us a lot. We have more important things to be doing than putting out dog fires.

We arrested a man down south that has been on a tear. He has some mental issues and the citizens are in an up-roar, rightfully so. We had him evaluated and we were told “No higher level of health care needed”. WOW! Some parts of our mental health care is broke.

We got a tip that there was a stolen 4-wheeler at a man’s home in the Deweyville area.

We went and checked and it was stolen. The man had a bill of sale. Too bad. Another real good deal went bad.

Received a 911 call from a man who said he was wanted for burglary. He wanted to turn himself in. When ask his name he didn’t know it.   Turned out he just needed a ride. He was tired of walking.

Gotta Go. Thought for the week: Smoking will kill you. Bacon will kill you. But smoking bacon will cure it. Ya’ll have a good week and if we can help, just holler.

God Bless.
