FANNETT — Putting an exclamation point together to end the regular season, the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears crushed the Hamshire-Fannett Lady Longhorns 17-0 Friday night in District 22-4A play.

The Lady Bears (23-3, 8-2), who will enter the playoffs as the second-place seed out of 22-4A, picked up 15 hits against H-F (2-8 in district) pitching.

Morgan Weaver was 3-for-3 with two doubles and scored four runs. Renna Toomey was 2-for-3 with four RBI and scored three times. Bailey Frenzel was 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. Joanna Henry went 2-for-3 with three RBI and scored.

Ally White went 2-for-4 and scored three times. Brianna Frenzel was 1-for-3 and drove in a run. Jonee Villanueva was 2-for-3 and scored and Olivia Leavings was 1-for-3 and drove in two runs. Henry, Toomey and Villanueva each had doubles.

Frenzel and Toomey combined to go four innings on the mound, scattering two hits, fanning six and walking one.
