Lady Cards, Bears remain high in 4A state softball poll

Both the Bridge City Lady Cardinals and the LC-M Lady Bears remain highly ranked in the Texas High School Womens Coaches Association Class 4A state softball poll that was releaed Monday.

The District 22-4A champion Lady Cardinals (23-7-1, 8-0) are currently ranked No. 5 while the Lady Bears (21-3, 6-2) are ranked No. 18.

The Lady Cardinals venture to Hamshire-Fannett Tuesday night while the Lady Bears welcome in Silsbee.

In Class 3A Buna (26-2) is ranked No. 5 while Kirbyville (23-5) is ranked No. 16.
