Lady Cards rank No. 6 in 4A; LC-M at No. 17

The Bridge City Lady Cardinals are ranked No. 6 and the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears No. 17 in the latest Class 4A state softball poll released by the Texas High School Girls Coaches Association Tuesday.
The Lady Cardinals (22-7-1, 7-0) are currently in first-place in the District 22-4A standings and the Lady Bears (20-3, 5-2) are in second.
The Lady Cardinals host Hamshire-Fannett Friday while the Lady Bears venture to Silsbee.
In Class 3A the Buna Lady Cougars (24-2) are ranked No. 4 and in Class 2A the Evadale Lady Rebels (14-5) chime in at No. 17.
