Cardinals, Bears continue in 4A state diamond rankings

Both the Bridge City Cardinals and Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears, currently tied for first-place in the District 22-4A standings, remained ranked in the Class 4A Texas High School Baseball poll.

The Cardinals (16-7-1, 5-1) are currently ranked No. 10 while the Bears (23-4, 5-1) chime in at No. 21.

The Cardinals host Hamshire-Fannett Friday while the Bears head to Silsbee.

Jasper (19-5, 2-1) is ranked No. 15.

Nederland (16-5, 8-0), currently in first-place in District 22-5A, is ranked No. 18 in 5A. Kirbyville (15-8) is ranked No. 15 in Class 3A. Evadale (15-3) is No. 10 in Class 2A and Colmesneil (11-4) is No. 20.
