JASPER — In a superb defensive effort, the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears got off to a superb start in the playoffs Thursday night by toppling the Diboll Lady Lumberjacks 3-0 in the Class 4A Region III bidistrict round at Jasper High School.
Avery Holland powered the Lady Bear offense by booting in two goals while Kayla Nichols had the other score.
