Orange Pastors and Ministers’ Fellowship

The Orange Pastors and Ministers’ Fellowship will be sponsoring a Good Friday Noon Day Service at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. The Speaker will be Rev. Gary Chalk, pastor of St. Paul C.M.E. of Orange, Texas. The public is invited to attend.


Easter Fest

Community Church-Easter Fest on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Everything is FREE! Face painting/Car Wash/Haircuts/Food trucks/Games/30,000 eggs/Easter Egg Hunt/Kingdom Zoo/Bounce Houses


Easter Egg Hunt

MacArthur Baptist Church, 3600 Nightingale (across from Triple L Honda on Strickland), will hold a Gigantic Easter egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, April 1, immediately following the 10:45 a.m. Worship Service (everyone is invited to attend). 11:00 a.m. Traditional Service in the Sanctuary

3:00 p.m. THE GREAT SURPRISE Families will rotate through a variety of centers-science, Bible story, crafts, and snacks. (Family Life Center)

4:00 p.m. EGG DROP Secure your raw egg in a container.  Youth will drop the egg from the 2nd floor of the Family Life Center.

4:30 p.m.  EASTER EGG HUNT Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers through 5th grade.  (Family Life Center)


6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel


9:00 a.m.  Praise Service in the Slade Memorial Chapel located in the 600 block of Elm Avenue

11:00 a.m.  Traditional Service in the Sanctuary


11:00 a.m. The church has the Halliburton Pavilion all day.  After worship, enjoy a covered dish luncheon and an afternoon of fun games.


Good Friday and Easter services

Orange First Church of the Nazarene, 3810 M.L.K. Jr. Drive in Orange, invites you to join us for services on March 30, Good Friday Service at 6:30 p.m. and Easter Sunday Outdoor Early Service at 8:30 a. m. (North entrance under the Pavilion), FREE Breakfast at 9:15 a.m. (Dining Room) and Resurrection Celebration Service at 10 a.m.


Mt. Calvary Mission Department Work Shop

The Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church will be having their Mission Department Workshop, on Saturday, March 24 at 9:00 am. Registration will be $10 and it will begin at 8:30 a.m. Our theme is “Designed, Defined & Destined For God’s Purpose.” Proverbs 3:15-18. The Speakers for the Workshop will be Michelle Blanchard of Starlight Church Of God In Christ, Hilda Galloway, and Minister Vernike Williams-Pitre, of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.


Mt. Calvary Baptist Church “Seven Last Sayings from the Cross” Program

The Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church will be having a “Seven Last Sayings from the Cross” Program on Wed. March 28, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. There will be Speakers from several Churches from our community on program. The public is invited to attend.


Youth Department Fish Dinner Fundraiser

The Mount Calvary Youth Department will be sponsoring its Annual Good Friday Fish Dinner Sale on Friday, March 30. The Plates will consist of Fish, Potato Salad, Green Beans, Bread and Cake for $8. Dinners can be purchased from any Youth Department Matron, Patron, Youth Member or call the church at (409) 883-8582.


Feeding the Hungry

Mt. Olive Baptist Church is Feeding the Hungry at 12 Noon gathering with prayer every Thursday at the Rosa Watson Caring Kitchen located at 106 West Park Ave. in Orange. Rev. Ronnie Crockett, pastor. For more information call 886-2508

Prayer meeting headed by Pastor Curley Richard of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday – Friday at 1207 Link Ave. in Orange.


Soup Kitchen

1st Presbyterian Church located at 902 Green Ave. in Orange offers lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
