BRIDGE CITY — The Bridge City Cardinals notched a 12-8 District 22-4A victory over the Silsbee Tigers at Cardinal Field Friday night.

The Cardinals (13-7, 2-0) found some hot bats throughout the night to erase a 5-4 Silsbee lead.

Jackson Tims had a big three-run double and scored twice.

Schuyler Thibodaux and Justyn Romero each had a pair of hits and scored twice.

Peyton Havard drove in a run and scored a air of runs. Cace Skinner had a single and a double while Gavin Green had a hit and Cameron Yadon scored a run.

The Cardinals will host LC-M Tuesday in a nice Orange County showdown and will visit LC-M on Thursday.
