Lady Bobcats bury H-F, 19-4

FANNETT — The Orangefield Lady Bobcats traveled to Hamshire-Fannett Tuesday evening and got their first District 22-4A win of the year 19-4.
Codie Sorge got the win on the mound going 4.1 innings. Sorge gave up four earned runs on five hits with a strikeout. Kaylee Ancelot picked up her second save of the year relieving Sorge in a bases loaded 6-2 game in the fifth. Ancelot gave up three hits and finished with three strikeouts.
Ryden Stanfield went 3-for-5 with a double, a walk and run scored and two RBIs. Karlye Bramblett went 4- for-6 with a double, four runs scored and a pair of RBIs. Kaylee Ancelot went 3-for-3 with a double, three walks, five runs scored and an RBI. Kinley Gipson went 5-for-5 with a home run, a double, four runs scored and four RBIs. Autumn Frost went 3-for-5 with a walk, a double, two runs scored and three RBI. Olivia Grant went 1-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Kristin Broussard went 1-for-2 with three walks and two runs scored.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 17-5-1 overall and 1-1 in district play. They host the Lady Longhorns Friday at home with JV beginning at 5 p.m..
