A three-vehicle collision involving two trucks and a tractor/trailer at approximately noon on Monday at the 8600 block of State Hwy. 87 shut down the road for several hours.

The driver of one of the trucks, a female, 25, of Jasper, was transported by Air Rescue to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

The driver of the tractor/trailer, a 56-year-old male of Louisiana, was transported by Acadian Ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

The third driver, a 38-year-old resident of Orange, declined treatment at the scene.

The conditions of the subjects transported are unknown at this time.

The accident is still under investigation at this time.
