BEAUMONT — Arthur Louis, the first-ever head football coach at Beaumont Ozen from 1998-2001, was named as the new head football coach at the newly-formed Beaumont United High School.

Beaumont Ozen and Beaumont Central just recently merged to form Beaumont United the next school calendar year.

Louis led Ozen to a 24-20 record and to the playoffs when he was there, including one district title. He has also been a very successful assistant coach throughout the years in the Beaumont and Southeast Texas area.
