Lady Cats compete well at SE Texas Invitational

HUFFMAN — The Orangefield Lady Bobcats competed in the Southeast Texas Inviational this weekend with a record of 3-2.

Game 1: Huffman 9 Orangefield 1

Ryden Stanfield went 1-for-2 with a walk. Tiffany Ciancaglione went 2-for-3. Autumn Frost went 1-for-3. Alyssa Dodd went 1-for-2 with a run scored. Kristin Broussard went 1-for-2.

Game 2: Orangefield 8 Sabine Pass 0

Codie Sorge got the win on the mound throwing a complete game shutout giving up three hits with seven strikeouts.

Ryden Stanfield went 1-for-3 with a run scored and two stolen bases. Tiffany Ciancaglione went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, and two runs scored. Kaylee Ancelot went 2-for-3 with a homerun and four RBI’s.

Game 3: Orangefield 6 Silsbee 0

Kaylee Ancelot got the win on the mound throwing a complete game shutout giving up three hits with strikeouts.

Karlye Bramblett went 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Kaylee Ancelot went 1-for-3 with a home run. Kinley Gipson went 1-for-3 with a run scored. Kristin Broussard scored two runs with two walks.

Game 4: Orangefield 13 Tarkington 2

Codie Sorge got the win on the mound giving up two unearned runs on three hits with two strikeouts.

Ryden Stanfield scored a run, reaching on a walk with a stolen base. Karlye Bramblett went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base. Emma Humplik reached on a walk, and scored two runs. Autumn Frost went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and five RBI’s. Kinley Gipson went 1-for-2 with three RBI’s.

Game 5: Liberty 4 Orangefield 3 (ITB)

Kaylee Ancelot took the loss going with the complete game. Ancelot gave up seven hits with six strikeouts and one earned run.

Ryden Stanfield went 2-for-3 with a run scored and two stolen bases. Karlye Bramblett went 2-for-3 with two RBI’s and two stolen bases. Emma Humplik went 1-for -2 with a double. Alyssa Dodd went 2-for-3. Victoria Welch scored a run with a stolen base.
