HUFFMAN — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears wrapped up a perfect week at the Southeast Texas Invitational Tournament by snagging wins over Nederland and Huffman Saturday.

The Lady Bears toppled Nederland 4-0.

Renna Toomey nabbed the win on the hill for the Lady Bears as she worked six innings, allowing four hits while fanning two.

Jonee Villanueva drove in a pair of runs for the Lady Bears while Joanna Henry had a RBI.

Ally White was 1-for-3 with a run scored. Bailey Frenzel was 1-for-1 with a run scored and Bri Frenzel was 1-for-3. Toomey and Olivia Leavings each scored a run.

The Lady Bears squeezd out a 5-4 victory over Huffman.

Bailey Frenzel tossed all seven innings, allowing seven hits while striking out three.

Leavings was 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBI. Bailey Frenzel went 1-for-3 with a RBI and a run. Megan Peveto also was 1-for-3 with a RBI and a run. Villanueva was 1-for-1 with two runs scored. Toomey and Morgan Weaver each had a hit while White scored a run.
