The LC-M Lady Bears captured a pair of wins Thursday at the Liberty Tournament, defeating Tarkington 11-0 and Beaumont Kelly 8-3.

In the win over Tarkington, Renna Toomey through a one-hitter through four innings, striking out three and walking one.

The Lady Bears had 11 runs off five hits. Joanna Henry was 3-for-3 with five runs batted in and scored three runs. Bri Frenzel was 1-for-1 with two RBI. Ally White went 1-for-3 with a RBI. Maddie Murdock and Emily Landry scored two runs apiece.

Bri Frenzel nabbed the win against Kelly, working six innings, allowing six hits while fanning three.

LC-M racked up 13 hits against Kelly pitching.

Olivia Leavings was 3-for-3 with two RBI, including two doubles. Megan Peveto was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Bri Frenzel also had a homer. Murdock went 2-for-3 with a double and a RBI. Jonee Villanueva was 2-for-3 with a RBI. White and Renna Toomey each went 1-for-4.
