DowDuPont names Eduardo Do Val as Sabine River Works Site Director

DowDuPont has named Eduardo Do Val as the new Site Director at the Sabine River Works, effective February 1, 2018. Do Val replaces Kevin Cadien who has served as Site Director for the past year before accepting the role as Site Director for Dow’s Louisiana Operations in Plaquemine, LA. “I am excited to lead the Sabine River Works team as we integrate into the Materials Science division of DowDupont. It is a wonderful time to be a part of this great company, I am confident that the talent and dedication of the Sabine team will enable us to position the site to grow responsibly. As we do so, we will continue to build upon the strong legacy of community engagement and partnership our employees have fostered in Orange and the surrounding communities,” said Do Val.

Do Val joined Dow’s Aratu-Bahia, Brazil site in 1985 as Sr. Improvement Project Manager. From there, he served in roles of increasing responsibility in the Houston area, including Production Director and Sr. Director of Supply Chain Operations. For the past six years, he served as the Site Leader for Dow’s Louisiana Operations in Plaquemine, Louisiana. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the Universidade Federal da Bahia in Brazil. In addition, he completed the Executive Education, Consortium for Executive Development program at the Babson College – Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
