PRESS RELEASE — At approximately 9:40 last night, the Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting 2 runaway children from the Vidor area. Deputies responded to Henry Drive and spoke with Seaver Solley, and his wife Stefanie . It was reported that Solley’s 2 children, 11 year old Serina Solley and 13 year old Matthew Solley, had been missing since about 8:50pm.

Seaver and Stefanie returned home from work and the children could not be located anywhere in or around the house. Seaver said the children had gone to school that morning and had just recently run away.   He spoke with a neighbor who said Serina and Matthew had been seen outside about 8:50pm.

A search of the neighborhood was conducted but did not provide any information.

Serina and and Matthew ran away in November 2016 and were found a few days later in a Houston train station. They were returned home safely at that time.

Serina is 4 foot, 11 inches with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black leggings and a black jacket.

Matthew is 5 foot, 2 inches with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans and a red t-shirt with “You’re killing me Smalls” on the front

Orange County Detectives have contacted the local rail yards in case the children may have tried getting on a train again. Area agencies have been contacted for assistance also.

Anyone with any knowledge of the location of either of these children should call the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at 409-883-2612.
