FRISCO — On Tuesday, Cindy Crocker Asche announced her intent to seek the office of Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas.
Asche said, “Having the opportunity to serve as the next Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas would be an incredible privilege. I did not seek this position. However, I could not fail to answer the call for a candidate who could bring honesty, integrity, fiscal responsibility, and unity to the RPT. I’m running because I have a passion for our state and a passion for this Party.”
A native Texan, Cindy Crocker Asche was born in Waco and grew up in Austin. Asche received her Bachelor’s degree in Business from Baylor University in 1983 and a BSN in Nursing from the University of Texas in 1986. Since 1986, Asche has served in a variety of ER and Trauma roles from assistant head nurse, trauma case manager, injury prevention coordinator, ER unit manager, and ultimately ER manager. Through these positions, she has managed 50+ member staffs, administered multi-million- dollar budgets, and developed best-practices to ensure optimal efficiency in trauma care.
Raised in a conservative family, Asche has always played an active role in the Republican Party. From working alongside her father, Bill Crocker, during his tenure as RNC National Committeeman for Texas, to serving as a State Convention delegate, a Grassroots Club member, an active member of the Texas Federation of Republican Women, and a Precinct Chair in Denton County, Cindy has a long history of involvement at every level in the conservative movement. In 2016, she was honored to serve as the Dallas-Area Captain for the Mighty Texas Strike Force, a movement credited by many as playing a vital role in the election of President Donald Trump.
Cindy and her husband, Fritz, have three children and live in Frisco Texas. They attend Bent Tree Bible Fellowship Church.
The Election of the next Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas will take place at the Texas GOP Convention in San Antonio on June 14-16.
