WOODVILLE — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears hoop season came to a conclusion Monday night as they fell to the Diboll Lady Jackets 59-37 in Class 4A Region III bidistrict action at Woodville High School.

Guard Brielle Butler led the Lady Bears, the fourth-place team out of District 22-4A, with 12 points, against the District 21-4A champion Diboll unit.

The Lady Bears return most of their team next season as they look to improve on what they accomplished this year.
