Cardinal lifters fare well at BC Invitational

Bridge City hosted the Bridge City Invitational on Thursday, February 1.  The Girls Powerlifting Team placed second at the meet and the boys’ team placed third.  The results are as follows.

 

Girls Results:

Senior Shania Dies placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 560 pounds.

Sophomore Megan Rappelet placed second in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 265 pounds.

Sophomore Sadie Stone placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 545 pounds.

Freshman Madison Bonnin placed third in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 415 pounds.

Junior Lacey Pender placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 700 pounds.

Sophomore Hannah Kincannon placed fourth in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 505 pounds.

Junior Jadyn Cunningham placed second in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 585 pounds.

Freshman Hailey Powell placed fifth in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 375 pounds.

JuniorChloe LeJeune placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 775 pounds.

Senior Kimber Ellender placed second in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 665 pounds.

 

Boys Results:

Junior Alex Williams placed first in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 725 pounds.

Sophomore Jake Potter placed second in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 780 pounds.

Sophomore Brendin Shomo placed first in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 980 pounds.

Sophomore Luis Zuniga placed second in his weight class by lifting a total weigh of 850 pounds.

Sophomore Josh Fuselier placed third in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 750 pounds.

Sophomore Davion Coleman placed fourth in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 930 pounds.

Sophomore Santos Garcia placed first in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 1170 pounds.

Sophomore Trenton Roccaforte placed third in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 680 pounds.

 

The Bridge City Powerlifting Team will be heading to Nederland on February 15 to participate in the Nederland Invitational.
