LUBBOCK — Former Bridge City standout and University of Texas-Arlington junior Alexus Henry captured second-place in the high jump, barely missing the six-foot mark at the Texas Tech Classic Track Invitational over the weekend.

Henry leaped 5 feet, 10 ¾ inches to capture second-place.

Texas Tech’s Zarriea Williams grabbed first place with an effort of 6-0 ¾.
