Woman displaying a BB gun arrested on possession charges

A 31-year-old Orange County woman was arrested after she exited her vehicle with her drugs in her lap.

The Vidor Police Department received a call of a woman in a vehicle displaying a firearm inside of her vehicle.

The complainant was able to obtain the vehicles license plate and location until officers arrived on scene at approximately 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of South Main in Vidor.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with Natascha Ibarra and asked her to exit the vehicle, and a small clear baggie fell from her lap onto the ground with synthetic marijuana inside.

After a search of the driver and vehicle, officers located 23 baggies of synthetic marijuana on the driver and an additional 22 baggies inside the vehicle of synthetic marijuana.

Officers also located 35 Xanex pills, and a scale utilized to weigh narcotics inside the vehicle.

The gun Ibarra was accused of pointing was determined to be a BB gun.

Ibarra, of Orange County was arrested on two counts of Possession of Controlled Substance, and transported to the Orange County Jail. According to Jail staff she has since bonded out of the jail as of Friday afternoon.
