BC lifters shine at Vidor Meet

The Bridge City Powerlifting Teams competed at the Vidor Invitational Thursday night.  Overall the girls placed second and the boys placed fourth.  Below is a summary of the individual results.

 

Girls:

Senior Shania Dies placed second in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 530 pounds.

Sophomore Josie Watts placed third in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 370 pounds.

Sophomore Sadie Stone placed second in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 530 pounds.

Senior Maggie Garcia placed second in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 605 pounds.

Junior Lacey Pender placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 655 pounds.

Junior Jadyn Cunningham placed third in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 585 pounds

Freshman Gracie Fontenot placed fourth in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 585 pounds.

Junior Chloe LeJeune placed first in her weight class by lifting a total weight 755 pounds.

Senior Kimber Ellender placed second in her weight class by lifting a total weight of 635 pounds.

Boys:

Sophomore Jake Potter placed second in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 790 pounds.

Junior Alex Williams placed third in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 675 pounds.

Sophomore Brendin Shomo placed second in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 905 pounds.

Sophomore Luis Zuniga placed third in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 785 pounds.

Sophomore Josh Fuselier placed fifth in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 730 pounds.

Sophomore Sheldon Becker placed first in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 990 pounds.

Junior Manuel Gomez placed third in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 1,095 pounds.

Sophomore Santos Garcia placed third in his weight class by lifting a total weight of 1,155 pounds.

The Bridge City Powerlifting Team will be Hosting the Bridge City Invitational On February 1, 2018.
