FANNETT — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears went on the road Tuesday night and took down the Hamshire-Fannett Lady Longhorns 49-40 in District 22-4A action at Longhorn Gym.

The win pushes the Lady Bears to 4-2 in 22-4A play as they stand in third-place with four district games remaining while the Lady Longhorns dropped to 0-6.

The Lady Bears had two player notch double-doubles as Jacie Miller pumped in 11 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had five blocked shots while Karly Rogers posted 11 points and 10 boards.

Guard Chelsea Perry led the balanced LC-M unit with 12 points.

The Lady Bears will visit WO-S Friday while H-F heads to Oranngefield.
