BEAUMONT – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), with the assistance of the Texas Department of Transportation, have closed the Veterans bridge and the Rainbow bridge until further notice.

The Purple Heart Memorial bridge on Interstate 10 remains open at this time.

During freezing conditions, roads, bridges and elevated structures are impacted and can make driving dangerous. Safety is a top priority; therefore, DPS urges all motorists to stay off the roadways.
