Huffman boys 56, OF 39

ORANGEFIELD — The Huffman Falcons took down the Orangefield Bobcats 56-39 in non-district hoop action Tuesday night.

The Bobcats got off to a slow start on the offensive end as they trailed the Falcons 24-14 at the half and Huffman outscored Orangefield 32-25 in the second half.

Guard Aven Lathrop led the Bobcats (13-9) with 17 points as he drained four three-point shots while Alex Catt chimed in with 11 points.

Zach Dischler added a team-high five rebounds and a team-high three assists.

The Bobcats will open up District 22-4A play on the road Friday at defending Class 4A state champion Silsbee.
