LC-M boys 71, Liberty 59

LIBERTY — Behind 27 points and 13 rebounds by Katon Brown, the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears wrapped up their non-district slate with a 71-59 road victory at Liberty Tuesday night.

Shooting guard Braden Bridges chimed in with 21 points to also spark the Bear arsenal.

JJ Slack paced Liberty with 12 points.

The Bears will open up District 22-4A play at home Friday night when they welcome in the Bridge City Cardinals.
