A man was found deceased with a gunshot wound to his upper body at approximately 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Orange County deputies responded to report of a shooting victim in the 1100 block of Liberty in Vidor.

When deputies arrived, they found a male deceased inside a residence with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper portion of his body.

No arrests have been made, according to an Orange County Sheriff’s Office press release.

A male inside the residence at the time and other possible witnesses are being interviewed to determine what events lead to the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
