Three arrested after short pursuit

Orange police officers attempted to stop a vehicle for failing to signal a lane change, according to a press release issued from Orange Police Detective Captain R.O. Enmon.

After a short pursuit, officers stopped the vehicle just east of the Adams Bayou service road bridge at 3:08 p.m. on Monday .

Four people were detained from the vehicle and once officers searched the inside the vehicle and discovered over 14 ounces of Methamphetamine was located along with three handguns.

Three persons were arrested were Demone Jerard Davis, 35, possession of a Controlled Substance, Jarrick Augustine, 41, 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Rolanda Conklin, 33, Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The fourth person was released without charges.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the arrest.
