Lady Bobcats snare a pair of Tennison wins Friday

ORANGEFIELD — On Friday the Lady Bobcats downed FTCA 61-25 and Nederland 45-28.

Against FTCA Faith Fregia poured in 24 points and had four rebounds. Cameron Choate had 16 points, seven rebounds and three steals and Emmi Lummus had nine points, seven steals and five assists.

In the win over Nederland, Choate had a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Fregia posted nine points and four steals. Taylor Decker collected eight points and four boards while Jayme Deutsch had seven points and five boards.

The Orangefield boys dropped a tight 56-48 overtime decision to the Liberty Panthers Thursday.

The Bobcats had a 40-33 lead to start the fourth quarter but the Panthers rallied to tie it and went on to outscore the Bobcats 10-2 in the extra session.

Alex Catt had 13 points and five rebounds for the Bobcats. Aven Lathrop filtered in 11 points. Drew Worthy notched 10 points, four rebounds and two steals. Zach Dischler pulled down six rebounds while Dylan Williams had five.
