The Vidor PD is very proud to announce that a new member to the force has been selected. We would like to introduce our newest member K-9 Officer (A name will be selected through a naming contest).  The K9 Officer is a 2-year-old Belgium Malinois. He is being trained for Narcotics, tracking and handler protection. He will be on patrol starting February with his partner, Officer Mansfield. The K9 is another tool that is being utilized to better protect our community.
