Sabine Credit Union employees Kristen Tompkins, Wanda McGraw, Tina Nimitz, Kristi Charrier, Kenita Dougharty present Gift of Life representatives Norma Sanford and Christine Morris with a $1,000 check. Sabine Federal Credit Union employees donated a dollar each time they wore a pink shirt or jeans on Wednesday during the month of October. October is recognized as National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Funds donated to the Gift of Life stay locally to help underinsured women with mammograms and education on the importance of early detection.
