Last Thursday the Orangefield 7th and 8th Graders had a clean sweep of Hamshire Fannett only allowing them to score one touchdown on the afternoon. The 7th/8th combined team kept their undeated streak alive at 2-0 with a 22-8 victory. Alfredo Arzola had a huge game scoring all 3 of the teams touchdowns on the ground while rushing for 146 yds. Trevor Morgan was the anchor for the defense accumulating 15 tackles and a fumble recovery. The 7th A team remains undefeated in district with a 3-0 record winning 24-0. Brayden Parker scored on a rushing touchdown while Gavin Perri-Kocci had a pair of 40+ yd runs which resulted in scores. The 8th A team finished off the short horns for the night coming away with a 20-0 victory with the defense throwing up their first shut out of the season. Hunter Ashworth toted the rock all night punching it in for 2 touchdowns on the night. And Evan Spears had a 47yd run for a touchdown to cap off the night. Defensive standouts where Dwight Davis, Raven Dean, and Maccoy Marze. Their next games will be at home against Hardin Jefferson with the first one kicking off at 5PM.
