Orangefield seventh and eighth grade football teams came away with victories against the Mauriceville Panthers.

 

The 7th grade team won 36-0 with great efforts on both sides of the ball all afternoon. Offensive standouts were Cameron Dischler, Brayden Parker, and Gavin Perri-Koci. Dischler continued his streak running for another 2 touchdowns on the afternoon. Parker also scored 2 touchdowns on the evening with one of those being a punt returned for a score. PK had 2 long runs on the afternoon with 1 resulting in a 46yd TD scamper.

 

The 8th grade team had another hard fought battle winning 14-8. The defense gave up a score on the first drive of the game but never allowed them to even get close after that. The offense churned out yardage all afternoon but got off to a sluggish start in the first half. Finally they got things going in the second half on the backs of Hunter Ashworth and Evan Spears who scored the only touchdowns on the afternoon.

 

Next week there will 3 game in Hamshire-Fannett on Thursday, October 27th.
