BCJH gridders go 3-1 against Silsbee

The BCMS Football teams played Silsbee last Tuesday night and came away 3-1.

The 8th grade teams traveled to Silsbee and came away 2-0. The Red team defeated the Tigers 35-12 scoring on all five of their possessions. Offensive leaders were Dorian Pruitt (3 TDs), Ethan Oceguera (2 TDs), and Deegan King (TD). The defense was led by Trey Hebert, Harrison Gauthier, and J.T. Fielder. The Red team moves to 4-0 in district play.

The 8th grade white team defeated the Tigers 14-6. Offensive leaders were Dane Woolwine and Shayan Rahim who both had touchdown runs. The white team improves to 2-2 on the season.

The 7th grade teams hosted Silsbee and came away 1-1. The Red team dropped a hard fought game 12-6 with the Tiger scoring to go ahead touchdown with less than a minute to play. The defense played well all night limiting the Tigers to just a couple key plays. The offense was led by Jaden Martinez who had nearly 200 yards passing. Clayton Whatley and Brandon Milstead (TD) made some nice catches. The Red team falls into a three way tie for first with a 3-1 district record.

The White team picked up a nice 14-12 win over the Tigers. Michael Regaldo led the white team on the ground with over 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns. The defense was led by Landon Fincher, Aiden Fukuda, Ciro Martinez. Jerry Winfrey added a game sealing interception in the end zone with 20 seconds to play. The white team improves to 2-1 on the year.

The BCMS teams will take on the Cleveland Indians tomorrow (Tuesday). The 8th grade teams are scheduled to host Cleveland while the 7th grade teams hit the road.
