A woman had to be treated for injuries after she was hit by a car around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when Orange Fire Department responded to 1205 Palm Street in reference to a possible auto-pedestrian.

According to witnesses on scene there was a disturbance between two people and one of the involved attempted to leave, and the other person in the disturbance got in the way of the moving vehicle.

The woman was injured as she was hit by the car as it left the area.

The woman was assessed on scene by Acadian Ambulance and transported to a hospital with unknown  injuries.
