Airman 1st Class Ashlyn L. Sims
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Ashlyn L. Sims graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Sims is the daughter of Lakeisha N. Sims of Sulphur, La., and Cedric D. Parker of Minden, La.
She is a 2013 graduate of Peabody Magnet High School, Alexandria, La. She earned a bachelor’s degree in 2016 from Grambling State University, Grambling, La.
Airman Chase D. Brumley
U.S. Air Force Airman Chase D. Brumley graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Brumley is the son of Rachel R. Stone of Orange, Texas, and James R. Brumley of Bridge City, Texas. He is also the Taylor R. Brumley.
The airman is a 2014 graduate of Orangefield High School, Orange, Texas.
