Lady Bears crush Silsbee to wrap up first half of 22-4A play in first

LITTLE CYPRESS — The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears wrapped up the first half of District 22-4A volleyball action unscathed as they made a clean sweep of the Silsbee Lady Tigers 25-10, 25-18, 25-19 at the Bear Cave Friday night.

The Lady Bears (5-0 in district) have yet to drop a single game in 22-4A play as well.

Kaitlin Avery led the way with 10 kills while Renna Toomey had nine, Ally White seven and Chelsea Perry three.

Toomey collected 22 digs while Raley Broussard had 21, Avery 15 and McCartney Miller 14.

White was huge at the net with a whopping eight blocks. Kayla Dominguez collected 22 assists while Morgan Weaver had nine.

The Lady Bears will visit Hamshire-Fannett Tuesday.
