The evacuation order for Orange County has been lifted as of 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017.

The county wide curfew is still in effect from 11:00 p.m. at night until 5:00 in the morning.

Mosquito Abatement will continue this evening with aerial spray treatment in Orange County. Patrick Beebe with Orange County Mosquito Control Distract reported land rates (of mosquitos) have dropped to zero in some areas.

The landfill located on FM 1442 is open daily from 7am to 5pm through September 19th. Fees during this time are being waived.

Tetanus vaccinations are being offered Monday, September 11th at the Orange City Library from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 12^th in the Pinehurst city council room (2497 MLK Jr. Dr.) from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
