Dear readers,

The Orange Leader will do our best to continue to update Orange County as we deal with the uncertainty and persistence of Tropical Storm Harvey.

Our thoughts and prayers are and should be with the areas devastated by Hurricane Harvey and the torrential rain causing devastation through flooding by Tropical Storm Harvey.  Those areas include our neighbors right here in Orange County, potentially east of here and certainly west from Houston to Rockport.  As this storm runs its course we will assess, pick up the pieces, rebuild where necessary and move forward.

The Orange Leader will provide updates through our website, www.orangeleader.com, social media and in print.

The Wednesday, August 30 edition, will be printed early Tuesday.  It will be distributed by our contractors and the United States Postal Service as soon as it is safe to do so.
