BEAUMONT — The Southeast Texas Democratic Leadership, a group composed of the SDEC, County Chairs and Labor leaders from Senate District 3 and Senate District 4, are pleased to announce two days of training occurring in Beaumont, TX over August 19th and 20th. The Texas Democratic Party is sending their staff to help get the Democrats of Senate District 3 and Senate District 4 prepared for the elections in 2018. Kim Olson, candidate for AG Commissioner will be the special guest speaker. Congressman Joaquin Castro will be there kicking off his Call to Action Tour. Details are as follows:

• Friday, August 18, 2017, 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm early sign in
• Saturday, August 19, 2017, 8:00 am sign in, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Training. Lunch will be provided.
• Saturday, August 19, 2017, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Happy Hour Social at Luke’s Icehouse, 2325 Calder Ave, Beaumont, TX 77702 Cash bar, light snacks.
• Sunday, August 20, 2017, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Training for candidates and campaigns. Brunch will be provided starting at 8:45 am

Topic will include party history, VAN, messaging, fundraising, voter contact, field programs
