Press Release — The Orange County Grand Jury returned an indictment against Aaron Kyle Angelo charging him with Capital Murder, Angelo is accused of killing Richard Ames and Edna Phillips at a residence in Vidor in June, 2015. After their bodies were discovered a lengthy and complex investigation was conducted and Angelo was identified as the person responsible. The Texas Rangers, the Vidor Police Department and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office participated in the investigation.

The case has been assigned to the 163rd District Court and bond has been set at $1,000,000.
