Sam Moore, former head baseball coach at Bridge City and West Orange-Stark, was recently tabbed the new head baseball coach at Sulphur (La.) High School.

Moore served as an assistant with the Tors last season as they were able to advance to the state quarterfinals.

Moore, a 1982 WO-S graduate and former Mustang standout also played at the college level at Louisiana Tech.

He has also been a head baseball coach at Iowa (La.) and Vinton (La.).
