Retired DuPont Engineer and current Lamar-Orange Adjunct Professor B.J. McKinney, middle, recently conducted a mini Tai Chi demonstration for the Orange Golden K Kiwanis.  Some members participating included Pat and Debra McCombs, visitors; McKinney, a long-time member and a Brown Belt in Karate; and Virginia and Fred Currier, with Fred being a member since 1989, at the club’s inception. Other members joining the fun were Karen McKinney, Margaret Light, Anne Payne, Vern Murray, Lois Ferrell, Reid Caruthers, Ted Williams, and Harold Walsh.  Unable to attend were Janelle Ramsey, Juliet Smith, and Sharon Proellochs.  The club meets every Wed. at Sunset Grove Country Club at 9:30 a.m. for breakfast off menu, then gathers for a speaker from 10:15-11 a.m., when the meeting adjourns. Persons over 50 are invited to visit or join Golden K Kiwanis, a non-profit and worthwhile group, with never a boring minute!  Contact Anne Payne, secretary, for more information at: annieoakley1116@gmail.com.
